Because High Cotton Closet works with a curated network of trusted suppliers, some items may ship separately and arrive at different times. If this happens, tracking information will be provided for each shipment.

14-day return window
We gladly accept eligible returns within 14 days of the delivery date. Return requests must be made within this timeframe.
Return condition requirements
To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Original tags attached
- Free of stains, odors, pet hair, damage, makeup, deodorant, or perfume
- In original packaging when possible
High Cotton Closet reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these standards.
Non-returnable items
For hygiene, safety, and quality assurance, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for the following unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Final sale or clearance items
- Bodysuits, intimates, or swimwear
- Worn or washed items
- Items with odors, stains, pet hair, makeup, deodorant, perfume, or self-tanner
- Altered or modified garments
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Examples include damaged fabric, broken zippers, missing buttons, incorrect size sent, incorrect color sent, or an item materially different from the product listing.
Return approval process
All returns must be approved before being shipped back.
- Submit a return request through your customer account, return portal, or by contacting us.
- Include your order number and reason for the return.
- Upload photos if reporting damage, defect, or an incorrect item.
- Wait for return approval and instructions before shipping your item back.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Return shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or an error was made with your order. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Refund method
Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing after approval.
Exchanges
If you need a different size, we encourage exchanges when inventory is available. Exchange requests follow the same condition guidelines as returns.
